Bembridge RNLI’s All-Weather Lifeboat assists two yachts as they race round the Island
RNLB Alfred Albert Williams (Tamar All Weather Lifeboat 16-17) launched at 11am this morning so as to be available if required to assist any of the Round The Island Race yachts who might have got into difficulty.

RNLB Norman Harvey (D Class Inshore Lifeboat 778) was launched this afternoon at about 4.40pm at the request of UK (Solent ) Coastguard to assist a swimmer who had been reported as being in difficulty in Seagrove Bay.
Bembridge RNLI’s All-Weather Lifeboat launched on Easter Day to assist a 16m Fishing Trawler that had suffered a mechanical failure.
RNLB Alfred Albert Williams (Tamar All Weather Lifeboat 16-17) was launched at the request of UK (Solent) Coastguard at around 9am this morning to take over towing the 16m trawler with 5 crew onboard that had broken down whilst in the fishing grounds to the South East of the Island from another fishing boat.
Bembridge RNLI’s All-Weather Lifeboat assists in the medivac of a crew member from the cruise ship Ventura earlier this evening (Sunday).
RNLB Alfred Albert Williams (Tamar All Weather Lifeboat 16-17) was launched at the request of UK (Solent) Coastguard at around 8.15pm this evening to assist in the medivac of a crew member from the cruise ship Ventura who had suffered a suspected heart attack. Ventura was located about 12 miles south of Bembridge having left Southampton earlier in the evening en route to Vigo.
RNLB Alfred Albert Williams (Tamar All-Weather Lifeboat 16-17) was launched this evening at 5.30pm at the request of UK (Solent) Coastguard to assist Portsmouth RNLI's Atlantic 85 (B-846 - Norma T) in the area of Langstone Harbour entrance with a 40 foot yacht that had broken its mooring and drifted out of the harbour.
