Littlestone Lifeboat 10K Promenade Dash
Following a great first time event in 2011, the Littlestone Lifeboat 10K Promenade Dash on the Kent coast returns for a 2nd year!
This fast and flat, out and back dash along the promenade from the Littlestone Lifeboat Station is in support of the Littlestone Lifeboat and all race profits will go to the RNLI.
A barbecue, bar and refreshments will be available and live music to entertain both participants and spectators. Medal to all finishers plus prizes for the leading runners!
Big Fun Run
The Big Fun Run's are 5km untimed runs staged within scenic parks across London and the South-East. Fun Runs will take place on Saturdays and Sundays in October in: Victoria Park, London; Venue TBC, South London; Mote Park, Maidstone; Venue TBC, Brighton;
Southampton Common, Southampton.
The Big Fun Run is the ideal event for beginners and experienced runners alike. Here you will find a relaxed atmosphere suitable for all the family to help the RNLI to save more lives at sea.
Rotary Shakespeare Marathon and Half Marathon
Starting and finishing in the historic town of Stratford upon Avon, the marathon is open to anyone aged 18 years or over on the day and the half-marathon to 17 years or over. Tour de Tendring
The RNLI is the official charity of this popular cycle ride for 2012. A choice of three circular routes - 6, 20 or 50 miles - around the picturesque district of Tendring - perfect cycling country with quiet roads, low hills and views to the sea. RNLI Lymington Lifeboat 10k
Now in its 11th year the RNLI Lymington Lifeboat 10k takes place in the beautiful coastal location of Lymington, Hampshire. The course meanders down country lanes and along the flat coastal path by the sea wall with fantastic views across the Solent to the Isla of Wight. London Kayakathon 2012
On the same day as the London Marathon a 26.2 mile Kayakathon will be held on the river Thames. The London Kayakathon is not a race and the emphasis is on completing the distance as a group and paddling past some amazing sights along the way. The group will start at Shadwell Basin and paddle up river with the flood tide to Chiswick Bridge and then paddle back to Shadwell with the ebb tide. Why not paddle for the RNLI and help save lives at sea.

London 2 Brighton Challenge 2012
London to Brighton is not just a challenge - it's a journey - and one you'll never forget. Moonriders 2012
Setting off from Alexandra Palace you'll pedal through eerily quiet London streets, past some of the capital's most iconic landmarks before breaking out onto the open country roads of Surrey and Sussex.
